This one’s for you – so you better read it… Dad if you’re reading this first – make sure Mom sees this too!
Firstly, Happy Mothers Day!
I may not call every day – or even call as much as you’d like, but there’s not a day that I don’t think about you all at home. It’s the little things that make me miss you. Like last week when I was ill in bed. All I wanted to do was come home and have you make me that lumpy/ugly-looking, BUT yummy, delicious homemade soup. Along with your disgusting but incredible ginger, honey & lemon concoction! But I didn’t tell you that because I knew you’d worry and I’m feeling much better now so there’s no need to worry ☺️
I don’t think I’ve ever told you, or Dad for that matter, just how grateful I am for everything you’ve done for me.
From working stupid hours which meant I didn’t get to see you much on weekends when I was growing up, to
Thank you for always supporting me and being here for me. I’ve never said it before, but I guess it’s never too late to learn and say thank you.
We may not get along 100% percent of the time and I think it’s fair to say we may not agree on most things, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you for just being you.
Have the best day today! For once you’ll be able to get some peace and quiet as I won’t be there… although I’m sure Prince Neel is slowly taking over my noisy role ☺️
So from your 24 year-old daughter who still has messy hair, still has a weird dress sense and still (sometimes) acts like a boy, (I suppose not much has changed from the 4 year-old me below),
I Love you Mom!
P.S. Wishing my sister a very Happy Mothers Day too. You’ve been the best mother to Neel and one day I hope I can be at great as you!
